2009 Highlight Video Transcription

Prime Minister Stephen Harper honoured the recipients of the 2009 Prime Minister's Awards for Teaching Excellence and for Excellence in Early Childhood Education. Awards were presented on October 5th, World Teachers' Day, to 27 outstanding teachers and early childhood educators from across Canada. The Prime Minister praised the teachers as the "best of the best" and acknowledged the importance of their role in helping students build a successful future.
